# **Accept or Decline a Linked Account Invitation**

This article shows you how to respond when another Simplebooklet account invites you to collaborate. Once accepted, you’ll be able to edit their **Simplebooklets** and 

**Collections** directly from your own dashboard.

## **How to Respond to a Linked Account Invitation**

1. Open your **Dashboard**.

2. Click **Account** in the left-hand toolbar.

3. Select **Linked Accounts**.

4. If you’ve received an invitation, an **invitation prompt will appear** on this page.

5. Choose one of the following:

* Click **Accept** to approve the invitation

* Click **Decline** to refuse access

Once accepted, you’ll see a confirmation letting you know your account has been approved.


### **What Happens After You Accept**

After accepting an invitation:

* The account owner is notified

* The account appears under **Accounts You Can Access**

* You can **switch into the linked account from this section or directly from your Dashboard**


### **If You Decline the Invitation**

* No access is granted

* The inviter is notified

* The invitation prompt will no longer appear

### **Good to Know**

* You must have your **own Simplebooklet account** to accept an invitation

* Invitations only appear when one is active

* You can disconnect from a linked account at any time


### **How This Impacts the Reader’s Journey**
Accepting a linked account invitation supports the **Immersion** stage of the Reader’s Journey by enabling seamless collaboration and keeping shared content consistent and up to date.
