Introduction

A caption button is a clickable icon that can be clicked on to open a caption popup.

Available on all plans.

Benefits

Sometimes you can't fit all your text description on your page. You can use a caption button to reveal more text content and provide the in-depth information your customer needs to make decisions. It's a great way to fit in additional information within your brochure with minimal interference on your page layout.

Step-by-Step Guide

Below is a walkthrough showing you how to attach a caption to a link hotspot:

Open your booklet in the EDIT tab to the page you want to add a caption button.

Click Buttons from the toolbar on the left.

Select Caption.

From there, fill in your text information beneath Caption.

You'll also have the option of attaching a link beneath Optional Link.

Once you're done, click SAVE.

Click and drag your button to a position on your page you want the button to sit.

You have now successfully added a caption button on your Simplebooklet!
