# Add a Caption Button

# Add a Caption Button

A caption button allows you to add a clickable button that reveals a caption when clicked. This is a great way to provide extra context or information in a way that’s clean and interactive. Here’s how to set it up:

### How to Add a Caption Button to your Simplebooklet

1. Open your **Dashboard** and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to add a button to.

2. Click the **Edit** tab.

3. Select the page where you want to add the button.

4. In the left-hand toolbar, click the **Buttons** button.

5. From the drop-down menu, select **Caption**.

6. Enter the **Caption Text** in the provided text box. This will be the caption that appears when the button is clicked

7. Add an Optional Link URL: If you want the button to link to a webpage, enter the URL here.

8. Once you're happy with your text, click **Save**. Your button will now be added to the page.

9. Click on the button to resize and reposition it using the **Element Editor**.

10. Preview your booklet to ensure that everything works as expected.

11. Your caption button is now added and ready to be interacted with!
