# Add a Custom Button after Exporting from Canva

After exporting your Canva design into Simplebooklet, you can add a **Custom Button** to your booklet’s navbar to give your audience a clear next step.

A Custom Button links to any URL you choose, making it easy to direct readers to a signup page, registration form, product listing, booking calendar, or any external resource.

## How to Add a Custom Button After Exporting from Canva

1. After completing your Canva export, your design opens in **Simplebooklet Preview Mode**. Click **Customize** at the top of the screen.

2. This opens the full editor. Select the **Design** tab.

3. In the left-hand toolbar, click **Advanced**.

4. Scroll to the **Nav Buttons** section and toggle on **Custom Button**.

5. Click the **pencil icon** beside the Custom Button toggle to customize it.

6. In the **Button Label** field, enter the text you want displayed on your button (up to 12 characters).

| Tip:* Use clear, action-oriented labels like Register*, *Learn More*, *Buy Now*, or *Book Call*.

7. Enter the **URL** you want the button to link to. This can be any external page, such as a form, checkout, or landing page.

8. Click **Done** to save your changes.

9. Your **Custom Button** will now appear in your booklet’s navbar across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
