# Add a Custom Button

# Add a Custom Button

A **Custom Button** gives you complete control over the actions you want users to take. You can make the button link to a variety of actions like opening a website, sending an email, downloading a file, and more. It’s a flexible, interactive feature that lets you tailor your Simplebooklet’s functionality to your needs.

### How to Add a Custom Button to your Simplebooklet

1. Open your **Dashboard** and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to add a button to.

2. Click the **Edit** tab.

3. Select the page where you want to add the button.

4. In the left-hand toolbar, click the **Buttons** button.

5. From the drop-down menu, select **Custom Button**.

6. You will see a dropdown of action options. Choose the action you want the button to perform.

7. Enter the corresponding information for the action you chose. For example, if you selected Link to a **Website**, paste the website **URL**.

8. In the **Label** section, enter the text you want to appear on the button. This is the text your users will see, such as “Visit Website,” “Download Now,” or “Book Your Appointment.”

9. Once you’re happy with the setup, click the **Save** button. Your custom button will now appear on the page.

10. Click on the button to resize and reposition it using the **Element Editor**.

11. Preview your booklet to ensure that everything works as expected.

12. Your Custom button is now added and ready to be interacted with!

| If you want to change any settings for your custom button later, just click on the small orange box to the left of the button. This will allow you to access the settings and make any necessary adjustments
