# Add a Form Template

# Add a Form Template

Using form templates is an easy way to create customized forms in your Simplebooklet. Instead of building a form from scratch, you can drag and drop pre-designed templates and start editing them to fit your needs. Here's how to add and customize a form template in your booklet.

### How to Build and Add a Custom Form

1. Open your **Dashboard** and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to add text to.

2. Click the **Edit** tab.

3. Select the page where you want to add the form.

4. In the left-hand toolbar, click the **Forms** button.

5. Click on the **Form Templates** option.

6. Enter the email address where you want to receive the form submissions.

7. After entering your email, select one of the pre-made form templates. Once you’ve picked one, drag and drop it onto your page.

8. After adding the form, you can double-click on it to edit the form’s text or update the recipient’s email address.

9. Click on the form to adjust its placement using the **Element Editor**.

10. Preview your booklet to ensure everything is working as expected.

11. Your form is now added and ready to be used!!
