Add a Headshot to **your Voice Narration**
Adding a headshot to your narration helps your audience connect with the person behind the voice. Your headshot will appear beside the audio player on your page, giving your Simplebooklet a more personal, polished, and trustworthy feel.
How to Add a Headshot to Your Narration
- Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.
- Click the Record tab at the top of the editor.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Record. This opens the narration drawer.
- Beside the Voice Only Narration section, click the Headshot button.
- Choose how you want to add your headshot:
- Upload Headshot — select a photo from your device
- Choose from Library — pick a headshot you’ve uploaded previously
- Your headshot will now appear beside the audio playback bar on your page preview.
- Click Save Recording (if you just recorded a new narration). If the narration was already saved, your headshot will update automatically.
- Your headshot is now added to your narration and will display for your audience.
Updating or Removing Your Headshot
- Open the Record drawer again.
- Click your current headshot.
- Choose Upload, Choose from Library, or Remove.
- Save (if needed).
Your narration player will update instantly.
How Your Audience Sees It
Your headshot appears directly beside your audio player, giving your narration:

- A stronger sense of credibility
- A more personal and engaging experience

Adding a headshot supports the Awareness and Engagement stages of the Reader’s Journey.
