Add Voice Narration to Your Simplebooklet Pages


Voice narration lets you guide readers through your content using audio only. You can record directly inside your Simplebooklet, add teleprompt notes, and customize how the narration plays for each page.


Available on all plans.


How to Add Voice Narration to Your Page



  1. Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to narrate.


  1. Click the Record tab at the top of the editor.


  1. Flip to the page where you want to add narration.


  1. In the left-hand toolbar, click Record. A drawer will open from the left.


  1. Make sure Voice is selected at the top of the drawer.


  1. (Optional) Add notes in the Teleprompt section. Click the pencil icon, enter your key points, and close the editor.


  1. In the Voice Narration section, click the green Start Recording button. A countdown will appear before recording begins.


  1. Begin speaking once the countdown ends. Click the red button to stop recording.


  1. Review your narration. You can Play it back, Redo it, or click Save Recording to add it to the page.


After saving, a confirmation will appear letting you view your narration or move to the next page.


Tip: You can record up to 120 seconds of narration per page.



Select a Microphone


At the bottom of the drawer, use the Select Mic dropdown to choose a different microphone at any time.



Narration Settings


  1. In the left-hand toolbar, click Settings.


  1. Toggle any of the following:


  • Autoplay On Page Open — Plays automatically when the page loads


  • Autoplay First View Only — Plays only the first time the page is viewed


  • Turn Page On Finish — Automatically flips to the next page when audio ends


Your changes are saved automatically.



Delete a Voice Narration


  1. In the left-hand toolbar, click Delete.


  1. Play the recording to confirm it’s the correct one.


  1. Select Delete Recording or Keep Recording.


  1. Confirm deletion when prompted.



What Viewers Will See


Your saved voice narration appears as an audio player on the page. Viewers can play, pause, and scrub through the timeline while following along with your content.

It helps guide readers through key points, reinforces important messaging, and keeps viewers focused as they move through each page. By pairing spoken explanation with visual content, you create a more immersive and accessible experience that encourages readers to stay engaged longer.
