# Allow Readers to Install your Simplebooklet as an App

With the **Install** option, you can enable readers to add your Simplebooklet to their devices as an app-like experience directly from the **Share** section of your navbar. This allows users to access your content from their home screen, making it even more accessible and giving them a convenient, persistent way to engage with your booklet. Here's how you can set it up and customize the appearance of your Simplebooklet when installed.

### How to Allow Readers to Install your Simplebooklet as an App

1. Open your **Dashboard** and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.

2. Click the **Design** tab.

3. In the left-hand toolbar, click **Share**.

4. Toggle on the **Install** option to allow readers to install your Simplebooklet as an app on their devices.

5. Tap the pencil icon next to Install to customize the launch icon.

6. From here, you can select the launch icon for your Simplebooklet:

* **Generic Icon**: Uses a generic icon as your Simplebooklet app icon.

* **Cover Image**: Uses your Simplebooklet's cover as the app icon.

7. A live preview drawer will automatically pop out from the right side of the Share section, allowing you to see how the install section will appear to your viewers in the navbar as you make changes.

8. Once you're satisfied with your icon choice, click **Done**.

9. Your Simplebooklet is now ready to be installed as an app in the **Share** section of your navbar.
