# Embed a Video

Embedding a video into your Simplebooklet is a great way to make your content more engaging. By linking to a video hosted on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive, you can seamlessly integrate video content into your booklet. Follow the steps below to embed a video into your Simplebooklet.

### How to Embed a Video to Your Simplebooklet

1. Open your **Dashboard** and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to add a video to.

2. Click the **Edit** tab.

3. Select the page where you want to add the video.

4. In the left-hand toolbar, click the **Video** button.

5. Click **On Page**.

5. From the pop-up, select **Embed** (this option will be selected by default).

6. Paste the **URL** of the video you want to link to.

| When embedding a video from platforms like YouTube or Vimeo, the video will include external branding (e.g., YouTube’s logo) and require a click to play. If you want more control over the video’s appearance and behaviour—like autoplay, muting audio, or hiding video controls—you should consider uploading the video directly to your Simplebooklet instead of embedding it.

7. Once you're ready, click **Add** to add the video to your booklet.

8. Click on the video to resize and reposition it using the **Element Editor**.

9. Preview your booklet to ensure everything works as expected.

10. Your video is now live and ready for your audience to interact with!
