# Enable Basic Copy Protection

**Basic Copy Protection** prevents your audience from right-clicking on your Simplebooklet content to download it to their device. This simple security feature ensures that your content remains protected and can’t be easily copied or downloaded, helping you maintain control over your intellectual property. Here’s how to enable copy protection for your Simplebooklet.

### How to Enable Basic Copy Protection

1. Open your **Dashboard** and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.

2. Click the **Design** tab.

3. In the left-hand toolbar, click **Advanced**.

4. Under the **Settings** section, toggle on the **Basic Copy Protection** option.

5. With this enabled, your audience will be prevented from right-clicking on your content to download it directly to their device.

6. Your changes will be saved automatically. Simply close the drawer when you’re done.

7. **Basic Copy Protection** is now active, helping you keep your content secure and protected from unauthorized downloads.
