Allow People to Follow you and your Simplebooklet


The Follow feature lets your audience subscribe to your Simplebooklet so they can receive updates and stay connected with your content. Once enabled, a Follow button will appear in the Contact section of your Simplebooklet’s navbar, allowing readers to easily follow your booklet from any device.


Available on all plans.


How to Allow People to Follow you and your Simplebooklet


Method 1: Turn On Following from the Design Tab



  1. Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.


  1. Click the Design tab.



  1. In the left-hand toolbar, click Contact.



  1. Toggle on the Following option.



  1. Click the pencil icon to manage your followers.



  1. This will open a modal with three tabs:


  • Current Followers: View how many followers your booklet has.



  • Add Followers: Add people who follow you on other Simplebooklets to follow this one. Select a follower from the list to add.



  • Send Updates: Keep your followers informed by sending them a message. Enter your custom message and click Send.



  1. Once you've made your changes, your updates will be saved automatically. Your readers can now follow your booklet from the Contact section of your Simplebooklet’s navbar!



Method 2: Turn On Following from the Share Tab


  1. Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.


  1. Click the Share tab.



  1. In the Manage section, scroll down to Following.



  1. Toggle on the Following option.



  1. Click the gear icon to manage your followers using the same options as Method 1.



Toggling this feature on in either the Design tab or the Share tab will automatically enable it across both locations — there is no need to activate it twice.

The Follow feature directly impacts the Engagement stage of the Reader’s Journey. By allowing readers to follow your booklet, you keep them connected and engaged with your content over time. When readers follow your booklet, they are more likely to stay informed about updates, encouraging long-term interaction and fostering ongoing relationships with your audience.
