# Get to know Preview Mode

# Get to Know Preview Mode

Preview Mode is where you step out of the editor and experience your Simplebooklet exactly the way your audience will — flipping through pages, watching the transitions, hearing the narration. It's the last stop before you share, and it doubles as a launchpad: from here you can switch to any device view, swap themes, troubleshoot a wonky conversion, or share your link.

## How to Open Preview Mode

From your **Dashboard**, click the cover image of any Simplebooklet. This opens Preview with a setup drawer on the left that walks you through your next steps.

|| To hide the setup drawer, click the **X** at the top of the panel. To bring it back, click the **Welcome Preview** icon in the top-right corner of Preview Mode.

## The Setup Drawer

When you open Preview from your Dashboard, the **Your Simplebooklet Is Ready!** drawer appears on the left with four sections.

### Glow Up

Simplebooklet automatically makes any links in your booklet interactive. You'll see **Link Hotspots** already checked off with a green checkmark — no action needed.

Below that, **What's Next** shows AI-powered recommendations based on your content. Click **View Recommendations** to open the AI Expert in the Design tab, where you can run or review any of the following:

- **Color** — Builds a custom color palette from your Simplebooklet.
- **Summary** — Writes a summary for SEO, social posts, and your info menu.
- **Table of Contents** — Organizes your booklet into sections by page.
- **Accessibility** — Adds accessibility content to your pages.
- **Translate** — Reaches readers in their own language.
- **Logo** — Sets up your logo as a smart block.
- **Contact Card** — Sets up your contact card.

Click **Review** beside any feature to see what the agent produced and make changes.

### Customize

Links directly to the **Design**, **Edit**, and **Record** tabs so you can tune your pages, presentation, and narration without leaving the flow.

### Troubleshoot

If your Simplebooklet didn't convert quite right — blurry images, broken fonts, bad layouts — click **Rebuild your Simplebooklet**. Your booklet will reconvert automatically. You'll see a loading screen, then return to Preview with the changes applied. If things still don't look right, reach out via the help chat.

### Your Link

Click **Share or Embed** to go straight to the Share tab where you can copy your link, post to social, or grab your embed code.

## The Preview Top Toolbar

**Device View** — Three device icons let you flip between Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet views. Switch between them anytime to make sure your design holds up everywhere.

**Flip** — Click to change your page transition on the fly. Try different page-flip animations — magazine, brochure, presentation, and more — and find the one that fits your content.

**Themes** — Opens a Themes panel where you can change the look and feel of your Simplebooklet in one click. Browse through preset themes to find a vibe that fits. For deeper branding tweaks, use the Design tab.

**Help** — Opens a quick info modal that explains what each part of Preview Mode does.

**Share** — Takes you straight to the Share tab so you can copy your link, post to social, or grab your embed code.
