# Install your Simplebooklet as an App

# Install your Simplebooklet as an App

You can install your Simplebooklet as an app for quick, one-tap access from your home screen—no browser needed. This makes it easier for your audience to find and open your content instantly.

### How to Install your Simplebooklet as an App

| Before you begin, make sure the **Install** option is enabled in your **Navbar Engagement** settings. By default, this is toggled on, but you can check it by going to **Design Tab** > **Engage** > **Navbar Engagement** > **Install**.

1. Open your **Dashboard** and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to install.

2. Tap the **Share** button to open the Link Manager.

3. Scroll down to the **Export Options** section.

4. Click **Install as an App on Your Homescreen** (smartphone and desktop icon). Your Simplebooklet will open in a new browser tab.

5. Follow the installation steps based on your device:

* **On Desktop:** A pop-up will appear. Click the **Install** button to add it as an app.

* **On Mobile:** A pop-up will display instructions. Tap the **Share** icon in your browser, then select **Add to Home Screen**.

6. Your Simplebooklet is now installed as an app and ready to open anytime from your home screen!

| **Looking to install someone else's booklet as an app?** If you're viewing a Simplebooklet and want to install it, look for the Install button in the Navigation Bar (if enabled by the owner). Clicking it will guide you through the installation process.

### Customize your App Icon (Optional)

1. Go to the **Design** **Tab** of your Simplebooklet

2. Click **Engage** on the left-hand toolbar.

3. Scroll to the **Navbar Engagement** section.

4. Click the pencil icon beside **Install** to open the customization menu.

5. Choose your preferred app icon:

* **Default Logo** – Uses the Simplebooklet generic icon.

* **Cover Image** – Uses your Simplebooklet’s cover as the app icon.

* **Your Own Logo** – Upload a custom logo.

6. Click **Done** to save your settings.

7. Your customized icon will now appear when users install your Simplebooklet as an app.
