# Set the Default Scale for your Simplebooklet

The **Default Scale** setting allows you to determine how your Simplebooklet fits on your audience’s screen, ensuring your content is displayed exactly how you want it to be. Whether you prefer your booklet to fit the entire screen, display at its original size, or scale to specific dimensions, you can easily customize it to best suit your content and audience.

### How to Set the Default Scale for your Simplebooklet

1. Open your **Dashboard** and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.

2. Click the **Design** tab.

3. In the left-hand toolbar, click **Advanced**.

4. Under the **Settings** section, click the **pencil icon** beside **Default Scale*.

5. Choose from the available scale options for how your Simplebooklet will appear to your audience:

* **Fit To Screen (Scaling)**: Scales your Simplebooklet to fit the entire screen, ensuring all content is visible without scrolling.

* **Original Dimension (No Scaling)**: Displays your Simplebooklet at its original size. This option may require scrolling on smaller screens.

* **Fit to Width**: Scales your Simplebooklet to fit the width of the screen, which may require vertical scrolling.

* **Set to Width 980**: Sets the width of your Simplebooklet to 980 pixels, a common width for desktop and tablet displays.

* **Set to Width 1440**: Sets the width to 1440 pixels, suitable for larger desktop displays.

6. Click **Done** to save your changes.

7. Your Simplebooklet’s scale settings will be updated. These settings allow you to control how your content fits the screen, providing an optimized viewing experience for your audience.
