# Show When Your Booklet Was Created

Adding Create Date to your Simplebooklet's Info section lets readers see when your booklet was originally published. It gives context to your content and adds a layer of transparency that helps readers understand where your material fits in time.

## Why Show Create Date?

Context matters. A guide published last month reads differently than one published three years ago — even if the content is the same. Showing your Create Date lets readers calibrate what they're reading against when it was written, which helps them make better decisions about how to use your content.

For thought leadership pieces, case studies, or event materials, the publish date is part of the story — it anchors your content in time and adds authenticity. For ongoing resources, pairing Create Date with Last Revised tells the full picture: here's when this started, and here's when it was last touched.

It's a small detail that adds a lot of honesty to your booklet.


## How to Include Create Date in Your Navbar

1. Open your **Dashboard** and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.

2. Click the **Design** tab.

3. In the left-hand toolbar, click **Info**.

4. Toggle on the **Create Date** option.

5. A live preview drawer automatically pops out from the right side, showing exactly how Create Date will appear to readers in your navbar as you make changes.

6. Your changes save automatically. When you're done, simply close the drawer.

| **Tip:** Pair Create Date with **Last Revised** to give readers the full picture — when the booklet was first published and when it was last updated. Together they tell a clear story about your content's history.

Displaying **Create Date** builds trust at the **Attention** stage of the Reader's Journey.
