Translate Your Simplebooklet into Multiple Languages (Text-Only)
Translate your Simplebooklet into Multiple Languages (Text-Only)
The Language feature lets you provide translated, text-only versions of your Simplebooklet without altering your original design or layout. Using AI, you can generate translations in up to 14 different languages, and your audience can switch between them in the Accessibility Menu.
This approach ensures your booklet’s original look stays intact while still giving non-native speakers access to your content. The translated version opens in a side drawer, is screen reader friendly, and supports keyboard navigation.
How to Add a Language Menu
- Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.
- Click the Design tab.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Advanced.
- Toggle on the Language option.
- Click the pencil icon beside Language to open the customization panel.
- From the panel, select one or more languages to translate. Options include:
English, Français, Español, Deutsche, Nederlands, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, 中文, عربى, עברית, Ελληνικά, Svenska, ไทย
- Click Translate to Selected Language to begin generating your translation.
- You can only generate one language at a time.
- A progress message will appear while the translation is being created.

How your Audience Uses It
- The translations are accessible through the Accessibility Menu button at the bottom of the screen.
- When the menu opens, viewers will see a language selector at the top.
- Only the languages you’ve generated will be shown as options.
- Audiences can switch languages at any time, without changing the original content or layout of your booklet.
Disclaimer
The translated text is generated automatically and may not be a perfect verbatim copy. Nuances in language can cause differences from the original content. In the event of any inconsistency, the
original source document in its native language will be considered the authoritative version.
How this impacts the Reader’s Journey:
The Language feature supports the Awareness and Attention stages of the Reader’s Journey by immediately breaking down language barriers. It makes your Simplebooklet easier to understand for non-native speakers, giving them confidence to engage further. With translations available side-by-side with the original booklet, readers can focus on your content without confusion or distraction.
