Use the Teleprompt for Your Narration
The Teleprompt helps you stay organized during narration by keeping your talking points visible while you record. Add notes, reminders, or a full script — only you can see what you enter. You can also move the Teleprompt anywhere on your screen to keep it close to your webcam for natural delivery.
How to Use the Teleprompt
- Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to narrate.
- Click the Record tab at the top of the editor.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Record to open the narration drawer.
- At the top of the drawer, choose either Voice or Video narration.
- The Teleprompt appears at the top of the narration panel.
- Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the Teleprompt to add your notes.
- Type in your talking points — this can include bullet points, reminders, or full sentences — then click Save. Your notes will now appear in the Teleprompt window during recording.
- Click the green Record button to begin narrating. Refer to your Teleprompt as needed while you record.
- When you’re done, click the close button to minimize the Teleprompt back into the narration drawer. The Teleprompt will save your notes automatically, and you can edit them anytime.
Tips for Better Narration
- Drag the Teleprompt near your webcam so you maintain eye contact
- Keep notes short and easy to scan while speaking
- Use bullet points to stay natural and conversational
- Update your notes between takes to improve clarity
