# Zapier: Open Trigger

Fire a zap every time someone opens your Simplebooklet — and automate your follow-up from there.

## Why Use This Trigger?

Every open is a signal of intent. The Open trigger lets you act on that signal automatically — send a follow-up email, log the engagement in your CRM, notify your sales team, or trigger any other workflow the moment a reader opens your booklet.

## How to Set Up the Open Trigger

1. Log in to **Zapier** and click **Create Zap**.

2. Search for **Simplebooklet** and select **Simplebooklet Activity Notification** as the event.

3. Click **Continue**, then **Sign in** to connect your Simplebooklet account. Click **Allow** when prompted.

4. Under **Trigger**, set the **Simplebooklet Event** to **Open**.

5. Select the Simplebooklet you want to monitor.

6. Click **Test Trigger**, then **Continue**.

7. Choose your **Action** — the platform and event that fires when your booklet is opened.

8. Sign in, fill out the action details, and click **Test Action**.

9. Click **Publish & Turn On**.
