Activate Your Summary Specialist
The Summary Specialist reads through your booklet and writes a concise description of what's inside. It appears in the Info section of your navbar so readers know what to expect the moment they arrive — and it also shows up in search results, collections, and social media shares.
Why Add a Summary?
Your booklet looks great — but when someone encounters it for the first time, they have one immediate question: "What is this, and is it worth my time?" Without a summary, they have to open it and start reading just to find out. Most won't bother.
A summary answers that question instantly. It shows up in the navbar before readers even flip to page one, and it's also what appears when your booklet is shared on social media, found in search, or listed in a collection. It's working for you before anyone even clicks in.
The Summary Specialist writes it for you in seconds — no copy-writing required. You review it, make it sound like you, and you're done.
How to Use the Summary Specialist
- Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.
- Click the Design tab.

- In the left-hand toolbar, click Info and verify that Summary is toggled on. Activating the AI Agent will turn this on automatically, but it's worth confirming so your readers can see it in the navbar.
- Click the AI Agents button at the top of the left-hand toolbar to open the panel.
- Toggle on the Summary Specialist and click Activate Your Agents.
- You'll receive a notification when the agent is done. It will turn green in the panel.
- Click the pencil icon next to the Summary Specialist to review the generated description.
- Edit the text to match your voice or add any details the agent may have missed. This is your chance to make it sound like you.
- Click Save. Your summary is now live in the Info section of your navbar.
How This Impacts the Reader's Journey
The Summary Specialist directly supports the Awareness stage of the Reader's Journey. When a reader first encounters your booklet — in a collection, a search result, or a social media share — your summary is often the first thing they read. A clear, accurate description answers their first question: "Is this worth my time?"
It also supports the Attention stage. When a reader opens your booklet and sees the summary in the navbar, it gives them immediate context. They arrive oriented, already knowing what they're about to read, which makes them far more likely to keep going.
