Adding videos directly to your Simplebooklet can bring your content to life, whether you're embedding a video from a platform, uploading your own, or finding the perfect clip in our Pexels’ library. Follow these steps to set up your video and enhance your booklet.
Available on all plans.
How to Add a Video to Your Simplebooklet
Open your Dashboard and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to add a video to.
Click the Edit tab.

Select the page where you want to add the video.
In the left-hand toolbar, click the Video button.

Click On Page.

Choose between three options for adding a video:
Embed:

Add a link to a video hosted on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive.
Simply paste the URL of the video you want to link to.
Once you're ready, click Add to add the video to your booklet.
Upload:

Upload a video file directly from your device (MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV, MKV, or WEBM up to 50MB).
Click the Choose File button and select your video file from your device.
For animated GIF files, use the image upload feature.
Customize your video settings (only for the Upload option):
Autoplay on Open: Automatically play the video when the page is opened.
Muted Audio: Play the video without sound by default.
Hide Video Playbar: Hide the video controls.
Loop Video: Make the video play continuously in a loop.
Uploading offers more customization options and ensures that your video appears without external branding for a cleaner look.
Once you're ready, click Add Video to add the video to your booklet.

Once you’re ready, click the plus icon to add the video to your booklet.
Click on the video to resize and reposition it using the Element Editor.

Preview your booklet to ensure everything works as expected.

Your video is now live and ready for your audience to interact with!
