AI Agents FAQ

AI Agents FAQ

What are AI Agents?

AI Agents are Specialist Agents built into Simplebooklet that handle specific, time-consuming tasks for you — like writing a summary, building a table of contents, creating an accessible version of your booklet, and translating your content into other languages. They work in the background so you don't have to do these jobs manually.

Do AI Agents replace my creative work?

No. Your agents handle the mechanical, repetitive tasks — not the thinking. You created the content, you know your audience, and you make the final call on everything the agents produce. They speed up your workflow; they don't replace your judgment.

Where do I find the AI Agents panel?

There are three ways to access it:

  • After generating a new booklet, click AI Powered Glow Up in the left panel of Preview Mode

  • From your Dashboard, click the cover of any booklet to enter Preview Mode, then click AI Powered Glow Up

  • From the Design tab, click the AI Agents button at the top of the left-hand toolbar

Can I run multiple agents at the same time?

Yes. You can toggle on as many agents as you'd like and activate them all at once. They'll all run in parallel while you continue working on other parts of your booklet.

How long do agents take to finish?

It depends on the task and the size of your booklet. Larger booklets take longer to process. You don't need to stay on the page — your agents keep working in the background and you'll receive a notification when each one is done.

Will my readers see the results right away?

No. Every agent result goes through you first. Once an agent finishes, you review the output, make any edits you'd like, and save. Nothing is visible to readers until after you've approved it.

How do I edit an agent's results?

Click the pencil icon next to any completed agent in the AI Agents panel. This opens the review editor for that agent, where you can make changes and save.

Where do readers find what the agents created?

It depends on the agent:

  • Summary and Table of Contents appear in the Info section of your navbar

  • Accessibility content and Language translations are accessible through the Accessibility button in your navbar

Make sure those sections are toggled on in the Design tab before activating the relevant agents.

Why aren't my readers seeing the agent results?

The most common reason is that the relevant navbar section isn't toggled on. Check the following:

  • For Summary and Table of Contents: Design → Info — make sure both toggles are on

  • For Accessibility and Language: Design → Advanced → Nav Buttons — make sure Accessibility Menu is toggled on

Can I regenerate an agent's results?

Yes. You can reactivate any agent at any time to generate a fresh result. Keep in mind that regenerating will replace the previous output, so make sure to save any edits you want to keep before running it again.

What happens to my agent results if I edit my booklet content?

Your agent results don't update automatically when you change your booklet's content. If you make significant edits to your booklet after running your agents, it's a good idea to reactivate the relevant agents to keep everything in sync.

Which plans include AI Agents?

  • Basic: Summary Specialist & Table of Contents Specialist

  • Pro: Accessibility Specialist

  • Business: Language Specialist

See our pricing page for a full breakdown.

How many languages can I generate with the Language Specialist?

There's no limit to how many languages you can generate for a booklet — but you can only generate one language per activation. Run the Language Specialist multiple times to build out a multilingual library.

Can the Language Specialist translate into any language?

The Language Specialist currently supports: English, Français, Español, Deutsche, Nederlands, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, 中文, عربى, עברית, Ελληνικά, Svenska, ไทย, and Portugués.

Is the AI-generated content always accurate?

Your agents produce strong results in most cases, which is why every output goes through a review step before it's visible to readers. We recommend reading through the results and making any edits that better reflect your content or voice. For translations and accessibility content specifically, the original source document is always considered the authoritative version.

How many pages can the Accessibility Specialist handle?

The Accessibility Specialist currently supports booklets up to 30 pages. If your booklet is longer, you'll need to reduce the page count before generating accessibility content.

How many pages can the Language Specialist handle?

The Language Specialist currently supports booklets up to 30 pages. If your booklet is longer, you'll need to reduce the page count before generating a translation.
