Collections FAQ
Collections FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about Simplebooklet Collections.
How many booklets can I add to a collection?
There's no limit. You can add as many booklets as you like to a single collection.
How many collections can I have?
You can create multiple collections on all plans. There's no cap on the number of collections in your account.
Can I add the same booklet to more than one collection?
Yes. A booklet can appear in as many collections as you want. Adding it to a new collection doesn't remove it from any existing ones.
Does a collection have its own URL?
Yes. Every collection gets its own shareable link when you create it. You can also set a custom slug (Pro and above) or a custom domain (Business and above) to make the URL your own.
Can I password protect a collection?
Yes, on Pro and above. You can set a password that readers must enter before they can view any booklets in the collection. The password can be changed or removed at any time without changing the collection's link.
Will readers see all my booklets if I add them to a collection?
Only the booklets you've explicitly added to that specific collection. Your other booklets remain separate unless you add them too.
Does updating a booklet automatically update it in the collection?
Yes. Collections always show the current version of each booklet. When you update a booklet, readers who access it through the collection will see the latest version automatically — no need to re-add it or do anything extra.
Can I reorder the booklets in a collection?
Yes. In the collection editor's Booklets tab, use the drag handle to the left of each booklet to reorder them. The order you set is what your readers see.
What happens if I delete a booklet that's in a collection?
If you delete a booklet from your Dashboard, it's removed from any collections it was part of as well. This can't be undone. If you want to remove a booklet from a collection without deleting it, use the Remove from Collection option in the Booklets tab instead.
Can I embed a collection on my website?
Yes. Open your collection's Share panel and click the Embed tab to get an embed code you can paste into any webpage that supports custom HTML.
Can readers access individual booklets directly, or do they have to go through the collection?
Both. Every booklet still has its own share link that works independently. The collection just provides an additional way to discover and access them.
Is there a way to track how many people view my collection?
Collection views are tracked in your Simplebooklet analytics. You can see total views, unique visitors, and engagement data from your Dashboard.
Can I add a collection link to a booklet's navbar?
Yes. In the booklet's Design → Info settings, you can toggle on the Collections button and choose which collection to link to. Readers will see it in the navbar and can browse your full collection without leaving the booklet.
