Customize Your Collection


The Layout tab in the Collection Editor lets you control how your collection page looks — your logo, background, and header bar. Here's how each option works.


Available on: All paid plans.


How to Open Layout Settings


  1. Open your Dashboard and click the Your Collections tab.


  1. Find your collection and click the Edit (pencil) icon.


  1. In the Collection Editor, click Layout in the left toolbar.




  1. Click Logo to open the logo uploader.


  1. Click Upload New Logo. A drawer opens.


  1. Click Select Logo File and choose your file. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, SVG.


  1. A preview of your logo appears in the Logo Preview section.


  1. Give your logo a name to help identify it in your library.


  1. Optionally, add a link to your logo so viewers can click it and be directed to a URL of your choice.


  1. Click Add Logo to Library. Your logo is saved under Saved Logos.


  1. Click Done in the top-right corner to return to the Layout panel.


  1. Your uploaded logo now appears under Your Logos. Click the plus icon in the top-right corner of the logo to place it.


  1. Choose where to apply it:


A live preview updates as you select each option.


  • Apply to All


  • Add to Browser Tab


  • Add to Nav Bar


  • Add to Menu


  1. To remove a logo placement, click the minus icon in the top-right corner of the logo in the preview.


Tip: If you've already uploaded logos to your Brand Kit, toggle on Brand Kit logos to apply them automatically across your collection.


  1. Click Done to save your logo settings.


To update, replace, or delete a logo later, click Manage next to the Your Logos section.



Background


The Background section has three tabs: Colours, Images, and Upload.


  1. Click Background to open the background picker.


Colours — Click any color swatch to apply a solid color background to your collection page.


Images — Browse Simplebooklet's curated library of patterns, photos, and animated backgrounds, or search for a royalty-free photo using the Unsplash search bar.


Upload — Upload your own background image.


Important: Uploaded background images must be JPG, PNG, or WebP format, no larger than 500kb. Recommended dimensions: 1200 × 800px.


  1. Click your chosen background to apply it. The preview updates immediately.



Header


The Header is the navigation bar at the top of your collection page. You can toggle it on or off and style it to match your brand.


  1. Click Header to open the header settings.


  1. Use the toggle to turn the header on or off.


  1. If the header is on, click the pencil icon to edit its appearance.


You can adjust:


  • Text — The color of the text in your header.


  • Header — The background color of the header bar.


  • Header Opacity — Use the slider to control how transparent the header is.


  • Navigation Font — Choose a font for your header text.


  1. Click Done to save your header settings.
