Edit An Existing Hotspot

If you’ve added a link hotspot to your Simplebooklet and need to make adjustments, you can easily edit it. Whether you want to update the destination, change the action type, or adjust its settings, here's how to modify an existing hotspot.

How to Edit An Existing Hotspot

Open your Dashboard and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to edit.

Click the Edit tab.



Navigate to the page where your existing link hotspot is located.

Click on the hotspot you want to edit. Then click the orange edit icon to open the hotspot settings.



In the hotspot settings, you can make changes depending on the type of hotspot you are editing:



Change the URL: If your hotspot is linking to a website, you can update the URL here.

Select a different action: You can switch between different hotspot actions (e.g., change from linking to a website to opening a video or document).

Adjust hotspot settings: Modify how the hotspot behaves, such as whether it opens in the same window or a new tab.

Once you’ve made your changes, click Save to apply the updates to your hotspot.



Preview your booklet to ensure that everything works as expected.



Your updated hotspot is now ready to use!
