How to Add and Remove Tags

Tags are added per booklet, directly from your dashboard. You can create new tags, reuse tags you've already created on other booklets, and remove tags at any time.

Opening the Tag Panel

  1. Go to your Dashboard.

  1. Find the booklet you want to tag.

  1. Click the tag icon below the booklet's cover image.

  1. The Tag Your Simplebooklet panel will open.

Adding a New Tag

  1. In the Add New Tag field, type your tag — one word or a short phrase. No special characters.

  1. Click Add.

  1. The tag will appear in the Assigned Tags section on the right side of the panel.

You can add as many tags as you like to a single booklet.

Reusing an Existing Tag

If you've already created tags on other booklets, they appear under Add Existing Tags. Click any existing tag to instantly apply it to the current booklet — no need to retype it.

Removing a Tag

Tags you've assigned to the current booklet appear on the right side of the panel under Assigned Tags for [Booklet Name]. Click the X icon on any tag to remove it from that booklet. The tag itself isn't deleted — it remains available for other booklets.

Tips

  • Tags are case-insensitive — "Menu" and "menu" are treated as the same tag.

  • Use consistent naming across booklets so filters work cleanly later.

  • Tags you create on one booklet automatically become available as existing tags for all your other booklets.
