Page Guides

Introduction

Page guides are shortcuts to editing content on your Simplebooklet.

Available on all plans.

Benefits

Each page guide performs a different function, but they're all meant to make editing your Simplebooklet easier. Whether thats to immediately add a new page, isolating page elements or shifting them all at once, it's all for the sake of isolating certain parts of a great mass of content into something manageable to be edited.

Walkthrough

Here is a 3 minute video showing you how to use page guides.

Using Page Guides

New Page

Add a new page to your Simplebooklet before the current page on your screen.

Click the first icon on top of the other three. Hovering over the icon will reveal the name of it.

You should then be directed to a new tab where you can choose what kind of page you'd like to add to your flipbook:
blank - Clicking this will add a new blank page to the next page of the current page you are on.
Upload PDF - Clicking this will attach a PDF of your choice to the next page of the current page you are on.
TEMPLATES BY CANVA - In order to select one of the pre-designed templates below, you may have to login to Canva first. From there, type in the keyword related to the kind of template you are search for and tap on it for it to be uploaded to your Simplebooklet. After selecting a template, that page will be attached to the next page of the current page you are on.
TEMPLATES BY CRELLO - Click Template By Crello. Similar to Canva, you may have to first login in order to search for and choose the template related to your interests. After selecting a template, that page will be attached to the next page of the current page you are on.

Outline Grid

This displays all of your page element containers and hides the contents. It’s an easy way to see the layout
structure of your page, especially for page elements that are layered.

Click the second icon from the top. Hovering over the icon will reveal the name of it.

This will cause all content except your page elements to disappear. This will make it easier to edit page elements on your page without removing additional content.

Click the icon again to bring back your other content.

Snap to Grid

Page elements will snap into alignment. Your top left corner of your page element will align to the blue grid square overlaid on your page.

Click the third icon from the top. Hovering over the icon will reveal the name of it.

This will cause the page elements to snap into alignment.

Element Editor

Opens the page element toolbars without selecting a specific element on your page.

Click the last icon on the bottom of the four. Hovering over the icon will reveal the name of it.

After opening the toolbars, you only need to tap your desired page element once to stylize or perform an action.
