Summary Specialist

The Summary Specialist reads through your booklet and writes a concise description of what's inside. It appears in the Info section of your navbar so readers know what to expect the moment they arrive — and it also shows up in search results, collections, and social media shares.

Available on: Basic plan and above.

How to Use the Summary Specialist

  1. Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.

  1. Click the Design tab.

  1. In the left-hand toolbar, click Info and toggle on Summary so your readers can see it in the navbar. | If you don't see the Summary option, make sure you're in the Design tab and have clicked Info in the left toolbar.

  1. Click the AI Agents button at the top of the left-hand toolbar to open the panel.

  1. Toggle on the Summary Specialist and click Activate Your Agents.

  1. You'll receive a notification when the agent is done. It will turn green in the panel.

  1. Click the pencil icon next to the Summary Specialist to review the generated description.

  1. Edit the text to match your voice or add any details the agent may have missed. This is your chance to make it sound like you.

  1. Click Save. Your summary is now live in the Info section of your navbar.

How This Impacts the Reader's Journey

The Summary Specialist directly supports the Awareness stage of the Reader's Journey. When a reader first encounters your booklet — in a collection, a search result, or a social media share — your summary is often the first thing they read. A clear, accurate description answers their first question: "Is this worth my time?"

It also supports the Attention stage. When a reader opens your booklet and sees the summary in the navbar, it gives them immediate context. They arrive oriented, already knowing what they're about to read, which makes them far more likely to keep going.
