Agent Status Marker


The Agent Status Marker is a quick-access indicator available in the top toolbar across every section of your Simplebooklet account — including your Dashboard. At a glance, it tells you whether your AI Agents are running, completed, or waiting, so you can keep working while they do their thing.


Available on: Pro plan and above.


Where to Find It


The Agent Status Marker appears as an icon in the top-right toolbar — visible on the Design tab, Edit tab, and your Dashboard. You never have to navigate back to where you launched the agents to check on them.


When agents are actively running, the icon displays a numbered badge showing how many tasks are currently in progress.



How to Use It


  1. Click the Agent Status Marker icon in the top-right toolbar from anywhere in your account.


  1. The Feature Status popup opens, showing a live view of your AI Agent tasks for the current booklet.


  1. Tasks are grouped by status:

  • In Progress — The agent is actively running. You'll see a live status message like "Generating Attributes with AI..." or "Generating Table of Contents with AI..." so you know exactly what it's working on.

  • Completed — The agent has finished and its output is ready.


  1. Click Open → next to any completed task to jump directly to that agent's output.



Keep Working While Agents Run


AI Agents can take a few minutes — especially if you've activated more than one at a time. You don't need to wait. Close the popup and keep editing, switch to your Dashboard, work on another booklet entirely — the agents run in the background regardless.


Whenever you're ready to check in, just click the Agent Status Marker. If the badge is gone, all tasks are done.


Tip: The status shown always reflects the booklet you're currently viewing. To check the status of agents running on a different booklet, navigate to that booklet first.
