What is the BrandKit?


The BrandKit is where you store your brand information — contact details, logo, headshots, and language preference — so it automatically applies to your Simplebooklets. Set it up once and it carries through to every booklet you create.



Where do I find the BrandKit?


Click BrandKit in the left toolbar on your Dashboard. The tooltip reads Customize your Simplebooklet with your brand.



What can I add to my BrandKit?


Four things: a Contact Card (your business name, name, title, phone, email, address, website, and social links), a Logo (with placement control), Headshots (for use with narration and your contact card), and a Language setting for your booklet's navigation.



Does my BrandKit apply to all my booklets automatically?


Yes — once saved, your BrandKit automatically applies to new booklets you create. Existing booklets will also reflect your BrandKit details.



What does the live preview on the right side of the BrandKit show?


It's a mock browser view that shows you exactly how your brand will look inside a booklet — including the Browser Tab, Nav Bar, Menu, and Contact Details. It updates in real time as you make changes so you can see what your audience will see before saving.



Where does my logo appear?


You choose. When editing a logo, you can select any combination of Nav Bar, Menu, and Browser Tab. You can select all three.



Can I upload more than one logo?


Yes. You can upload multiple logos to your BrandKit and configure each one with its own placement, name, and optional link.



What file types are accepted for logos?


SVG, PNG, or JPG, up to 25mb.



What file types are accepted for headshots?


PNG or JPG, up to 25mb.



How many headshots can I store?


Up to 100.



Where does my headshot appear?


In two places: next to the audio player when you've recorded narration, and in your Contact Card if you've enabled the Show Headshot toggle.



What does the language setting actually change?


It translates the built-in navigation labels in your booklet — things like Info, Contact, Share, and Controls. It does not translate the content of your booklet itself.



Do I have to fill in every field in the Contact Card?


No. Only the fields you fill in will appear to your audience. Leave anything blank and it simply won't show up.



Can I add a link to my logo?


Yes. When uploading or editing a logo, there's an optional Logo Link field. Clicking your logo in a booklet will open that URL.



How do I save my BrandKit changes?


Click the Done button in the top right corner of the BrandKit page.
