Customize the Share Section of Your Navbar
The Share section of your navbar gives readers ways to take your booklet beyond the screen — downloading it, installing it, embedding it, scanning a QR code, or sharing it on social media or email. You control which options appear by toggling them on or off in the Share section of the Design tab.
How to Get There
- From your Dashboard, open a booklet and click the Design tab.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Share.
Each option is a toggle. A live preview drawer opens on the right so you can see how each option looks in your navbar before saving. Changes save automatically.
What You Can Add
Download PDF — Lets readers download a static PDF version of your booklet directly from the navbar. The PDF includes your content but not flip transitions or interactive elements. Available on all plans. Learn more
Install as App — Adds an Install option so readers can add your booklet to their device's home screen for quick access. You can customize the app launch icon — choose a generic icon or use your booklet's cover image. Available on paid plans. Learn more
Embed Code — Displays a copy-and-paste embed code so readers can embed your booklet on their own website or platform. Available on all plans. Learn more
QR Code — Shows a scannable QR code in your navbar that links directly to your booklet. Useful for readers viewing printed materials or sharing in person. Available on all plans. Learn more
Social Sharing — Adds social media sharing icons to your navbar so readers can post your booklet to their networks. Click the pencil icon to choose which platforms to display. Available on all plans. Learn more
Email Sharing — Lets readers send your booklet to contacts via email directly from the navbar. The email includes a pre-filled subject and message that readers can customize before sending. Available on all plans. Learn more
Tips
- You can enable as many Share options as you like — each toggle is independent.
- The QR code in your navbar is tied to your booklet's URL slug. If you change the slug, the QR code will break. See How to Keep Your QR Code Active for how to avoid this.
- If you want readers to be able to download your content, use Download PDF — viewers cannot download the booklet itself, only a PDF version if you enable it here.
