You can add a button to your Simplebooklet's navbar that takes readers to any web page you choose, from the Advanced section of the Design tab. Use it to point readers at your next step, like registering, getting a quote or shopping, so it's always one click away while they read.
How do I add a custom button to my navbar?
- On your Dashboard, open your Simplebooklet and click Design.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Advanced.
- Under Nav Buttons, turn on Custom Button.
- Click the pencil icon next to Custom Button.
- In Custom Button Label, enter the text for your button. You can use up to 12 characters.
- Below the label, enter the web address the button should open.
- Click Done.
Your button now shows in your navbar, and readers who click it go straight to that page.
How do I write a good button label?
You have 12 characters, so keep it short and tell readers exactly what happens when they click:
- Name the action, like Register, Shop Now, Get a Quote or Donate.
- Match the page it opens. If it goes to a sign-up form, say Sign Up, not Learn More.
- Pick one next step. A single, specific action is easier for readers to follow.
