Lead Gate Popups
Popups allow you to put into place gated content that can only be accessed through your customer providing some personal information.
Available on all paid plans.
How this works is that a reader can flip through the first 2 or 3 pages, and then you can install popup a lead gate requesting their email address or other information before they can continue to flip through your booklet. Popups can be extremely helpful if you want to gather basic information from your readers and customers. By acclimating yourself with your customers, you can gain a better sense of who exactly is engaging with your content and how much more appealing you can tailor it for them.
Below is a walkthrough showing you how to install a lead gate popup.
Open your Simplebooklet in the DESIGN tab.
Click on the Engage Tab and then click on the pencil icon for Lead Gate.
A Lead Gate modal will popup for you to enter in your details.
What this does is assure your customers (or anyone who provides information on your site) how you will use and won't abuse the information they give you.
Write a message to accompany your request for your customers in the blank space under Custom Message.
Beside Display On Page enter which page you would like your lead gate to appear before your customers can progress.
Next choose whether you would like to toggle on the Skip Button.
This will give your customer the choice to skip entering any lead gate data in order to access your content.
Under Select Information To Collect toggle on the following options you wish to collect from your customers:
At the bottom, the second tab allows you to Connect To Zapier to automate with other platforms.
At the bottom, the third tab allows you to Link To Klaviyo to redirect yourself to your Brand Kit.
Once you're done, tap DONE.
You've successfully installed a lead gate popup on your Simplebooklet!
