Keep a Two-Page Spread Together on Mobile
Keep a Two-Page Spread Together on Mobile
By default, Simplebooklet displays pages individually on mobile for easier reading on smaller screens. If your booklet has a two-page spread that needs to stay together — like a full-width image or a layout that spans both pages — you can change your mobile Page Flip Transition to keep the spread intact.
The Mobile setting controls how your Simplebooklet appears on both phones and tablets — there's no separate tablet setting to configure.
How to Change the Mobile Page Flip Transition
- From your Dashboard, click the Design tab for the Simplebooklet you want to update.

- In the left-hand toolbar, click Page Flip.

- Click the pencil icon beside Page Flip Transition.

- The Page Flip editor opens to your Desktop settings by default. At the top of the editor, switch from Desktop to Mobile.

The Mobile settings apply to both mobile phones and tablets.
- Under Page Spread, select Board Book. Board Book keeps the two-page spread visible together on smaller screens.

- Click Apply Page Flip to save your changes.

Preview Your Changes
Open Preview Mode and switch to the mobile preview to confirm your spread is displaying correctly before you share it. This gives you a true picture of the reader experience on smaller screens.
Still Having Trouble?
If the spread still isn't displaying correctly after changing the mobile transition, contact Simplebooklet support and send us the link to the affected Simplebooklet so we can take a closer look.
