Show When Your Booklet Was Last Updated
Adding Last Revised to your Simplebooklet's Info section lets readers see when your content was most recently updated. It's a simple way to signal that your booklet is current, maintained, and worth trusting.
Why Show Last Revised?
Readers notice when content feels stale. A product guide from two years ago, a price list with no date, a resource document that could be outdated — these things erode trust before a reader even finishes the first page.
Displaying your Last Revised date flips that dynamic. It tells readers that someone is actively maintaining this content, which makes them more likely to act on what they read. For businesses, it reinforces professionalism. For educators, it keeps students confident they have the latest material. For anyone sharing ongoing information, it removes the question of "is this still accurate?"
It costs nothing to show — and it builds a lot of quiet credibility.
How to Include Last Revised in Your Navbar
- Open your Dashboard and select the Simplebooklet you want to update.
- Click the Design tab.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Info.
- Toggle on the Last Revised option.
- A live preview drawer automatically pops out from the right side, showing exactly how Last Revised will appear to readers in your navbar as you make changes.
- Your changes save automatically. When you're done, simply close the drawer.
How This Impacts the Reader's Journey
Showing Last Revised has its strongest effect at the Attention stage of the Reader's Journey. When a reader lands on your booklet and sees a recent revision date, it immediately signals credibility and relevance — reducing hesitation and increasing the likelihood they'll engage with your content. Readers are far more likely to trust and act on information when they know it's been recently reviewed and maintained.
