What are tags?
Tags are short labels you apply to your Simplebooklets to keep them organized and easy to find. You create them yourself — one word or short phrase, no special characters — and can assign as many as you like to each booklet.
Where do I add tags?
From your Dashboard, click the tag icon below any booklet's cover image. That opens the Tag Your Simplebooklet panel where you can add new tags, apply existing ones, and remove assigned tags.
Can I use the same tag across multiple booklets?
Yes — and that's the point. Once you've created a tag on one booklet, it appears under Add Existing Tags whenever you open the tag panel for any other booklet. Click it to apply it instantly.
Are there any rules for what a tag can be?
Tags are one word or a short phrase with no special characters. Keep them simple and consistent so they're easy to filter by later.
How do I remove a tag from a booklet?
Open the tag panel by clicking the tag icon under the booklet's cover on your Dashboard. In the Assigned Tags section on the right, click the X on any tag to remove it. The tag itself isn't deleted — it's just unassigned from that booklet.
Can I delete a tag entirely?
Tags that are no longer assigned to any booklet will stop appearing as existing tags. To remove a tag completely, unassign it from every booklet it's been applied to.
How do I search for booklets by tag?
Click the advanced search icon next to the search bar on your Dashboard. In the Advanced Simplebooklet Search panel, click the tag you want to filter by and hit Search. Results will show all booklets across your linked accounts with that tag.
What is Bulk Manage and how does it use tags?
Bulk Manage is a panel that lets you filter and act on multiple booklets at once — transfer, update visibility, tag, or delete. You can filter by tag to find a group of booklets and then perform an action on all of them in one step. Access it by clicking the Manage button in the Your Simplebooklets section of your Dashboard.
Do tags work across team accounts?
Yes. Both Advanced Search and Bulk Manage filter across all your linked accounts, so a tag search will return matching booklets from every account connected to yours.
What plan do I need to use tags?
Tags are available on all plans. Bulk Manage, which lets you act on multiple tagged booklets at once, is available on Business plans that support linked team accounts.
Can my readers see tags?
No. Tags are internal to your account and are only visible to you in your Dashboard and management tools. Your audience never sees them.
