Track Navbar Usage and Pages Actions in your Simplebooklet

The **Page Actions Report shows how your audience interacts with your Simplebooklet — from which navigation bar buttons they click to the specific interactive elements they engage with on each page. These insights help you understand reader behavior and optimize your layout to encourage deeper interaction.

Available on Pro and Business plans.

How to Track Navbar Usage and Page Actions

  1. Open your Dashboard and locate the Simplebooklet you want to review.

  1. Click the Reports button for that Simplebooklet.

  1. In the left-hand menu, select Navbars and Actions (shown as Page Actions at the top of the report).

  1. At the top of the page, use the Date Range selector to filter data for a specific time period.

  1. Use the Select Page dropdown to choose which page you want to analyze, or select All Pages to view activity across your entire booklet.

  1. Review the Navbar Usage section to see which buttons your audience interacts with the most.

  • This data is displayed in a bar graph, giving you a clear picture of how frequently each navbar item (like Info, Contact, Share, or Controls) is clicked.

  1. Below that, the Audience Click Actions chart provides a detailed record of all interactive actions taken by readers throughout your Simplebooklet.

  • You’ll see the feature clicked, the page where it occurred, the number of clicks, the date and time of the most recent interaction, the viewer’s location, and their device type.

Together, these metrics show which features and pages generate the most engagement, helping you identify where readers are focusing their attention.

How this impacts the Reader’s Journey

Tracking navbar usage and page actions supports the Attention and Immersion stages of the Reader’s Journey. By understanding which buttons and actions capture the most engagement, you can fine-tune your design to better guide readers through your content — keeping them focused, curious, and actively exploring every page.
