Translate your Simplebooklet into Multiple Languages
Translate Your Simplebooklet into Multiple Languages
The Language feature lets you provide translated, text-only versions of your booklet without altering your original design or layout. Readers access translations through the Accessibility Menu in your navbar and can switch languages at any time. Your original booklet stays exactly as it is.
Available on: Business plan.
Why Add a Translation?
Your booklet is only useful to someone who can read it. If you're sharing with a French-speaking client, a Spanish-speaking team, or an international audience, a booklet in English alone leaves them behind — not because they aren't interested, but because the language is a wall before the content even starts.
The Language feature translates your booklet without touching your original design or layout. You don't need to hire a translator or manage a separate file. Generate a translation, review the output, and your content is now accessible to an entirely new audience.
Two Ways to Get Started
Option 1: Generate with the Language Specialist
The Language Specialist translates your booklet's content automatically using AI. Supports booklets up to 30 pages.
- From your Dashboard, open a booklet and click the Design tab.
- Click the AI Agents button at the top of the left-hand toolbar.
- Click the Language Specialist to expand it, then select the language you want to generate.
- Click Run Your Agents.
Only one language can be generated per run. Run the Language Specialist again to add more languages over time.
Your agent automatically turns on the Accessibility button in your navbar when it runs. If you ever want to toggle it on or off, go to Design → Advanced → Nav Buttons.
- You'll receive a notification when the translation is ready. The Language Specialist will show a green chip for each language you've translated, along with a Review button.
- Click Review and choose the language from the dropdown at the top of the drawer to review your translation.
- To edit a page, navigate to it and click the pencil icon. Make your changes and click the save icon to confirm.
- Click Full Page at the top of the preview to open the translation in a new browser tab for easier reviewing.
Option 2: Translate Manually from the Design Tab
- From your Dashboard, open a booklet and click the Design tab.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Advanced.
- Toggle on the Language option.
- Click the pencil icon beside Language to open the customization panel.
- Select one or more languages from the list.
- Click Translate to Selected Language to begin generating.
Only one language can be generated at a time. A progress message will appear while the translation is being created, and you'll receive a notification when it's ready.
- A live preview drawer opens automatically showing the translated text. Flip through the pages to review.
- To edit, navigate to a page, click the pencil icon, make your changes, and click the save icon to confirm.
- Click Full Page at the top if you want to open the translation in a new browser tab.

How Your Audience Uses It
Readers access translations by clicking the Accessibility Menu button in the navbar and selecting a language from the dropdown. Only languages you've generated will appear as options. They can switch languages at any time without affecting your original content or layout.
Disclaimer
Translated text is generated automatically and may not be a perfect verbatim copy of the original. In the event of any inconsistency, the original source document in its native language will be considered the authoritative version.
How This Impacts the Audience Journey
The Language feature supports the Awareness and Attention stages of the Audience Journey by breaking down language barriers immediately. Readers who don't speak your booklet's primary language can now engage with your content in the language they're most comfortable with — which increases the likelihood they'll move deeper into your booklet and take action.
