Why the Last Pages Look Blurry on the Free Plan
Why the Last Pages Look Blurry on the Free Plan
If you’re viewing a Simplebooklet on the Free plan and notice the last pages appear blurry, this is expected behavior and nothing is broken.
What You’re Seeing
On the Free plan, a Simplebooklet notification appears near the end of the booklet.
While this notification is visible:
- The last pages may appear slightly blurred
- Text and images may look softer than the rest of the booklet
This effect is temporary and does not impact the actual quality of your content.
Why This Happens
The blur is applied to draw attention to the Simplebooklet notification and prompt readers to continue viewing the content.
This behavior is:
- Not a watermark permanently applied to your pages
- Not a file quality or export issue
- Not related to page limits or conversion problems
Your original file and final output remain unchanged.
How to Remove the Blur
To restore full clarity:
- Click Continue Reading on the Simplebooklet notification
- The notification disappears
- The pages immediately return to full resolution
No re-upload, re-export, or settings changes are required.
Good to Know
- The blur only appears while the Simplebooklet notification is visible
- Clicking Continue Reading always removes it
- Upgrading to a paid plan removes this notification entirely
If the pages become clear after clicking Continue Reading, everything is working exactly as intended.
