Customize the Advanced Section of Your Navbar
The Advanced section is where you add features that go beyond standard navigation — making your booklet accessible to all readers, linking out to additional resources, offering translations, and attaching downloadable files. Each feature is a toggle in the Advanced section of the Design tab.
How to Get There
- From your Dashboard, open a booklet and click the Design tab.
- In the left-hand toolbar, click Advanced.
What You Can Add
Accessibility Menu — Generates a text-only version of your booklet optimized for screen readers and keyboard navigation. Readers access it via the Accessibility button in your navbar — it doesn't change how your booklet looks for anyone else. You can generate the accessibility content manually or use the Accessibility Specialist AI agent. Supports booklets up to 30 pages. Available on all plans; the AI agent requires Pro and above. Custom Button — Adds a labeled button to your navbar that links to any URL you choose. Useful for directing readers to a landing page, a form, a promotion, or any external resource. The button label supports up to 12 characters. Available on all plans. Learn more
Language — Generates translated, text-only versions of your booklet in up to 15 languages. Readers switch between languages using the Accessibility Menu button in your navbar. Your original booklet design is never altered. Available on Business plan. Learn more
Attachments — Adds downloadable files directly to your booklet. Readers access them via the paperclip icon in the navbar. Supports PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, and video/audio files — up to 10 MB per file and 50 files per booklet. Available on all plans. Learn more
Tips
- The Accessibility Menu and Language features share the same navbar button — the Accessibility icon opens the panel where readers can also switch languages if translations have been generated.
- The Custom Button label is limited to 12 characters, so keep it short and action-oriented: "Learn More", "Get a Quote", "Register", "Shop Now".
- Attachments don't appear in the booklet itself — readers find them by clicking the paperclip icon in the navbar. Add a clear description in the attachment panel so readers know what they're downloading.
