Customize the Info Section of Your Navbar

The Info section of your navbar is where readers learn about your booklet — who made it, what it covers, how long it is, and when it was last updated. Every option here appears in the Info panel inside your booklet, and you can toggle each one on or off independently.

Available on all plans. Some options require a paid plan — noted below.

How to Get There

  1. From your Dashboard, open a booklet and click the Design tab.
  2. In the left-hand toolbar, click Info.

Each option appears as a toggle. Turn it on to show it in your navbar. Many options include a pencil icon to customize the details. A live preview drawer opens automatically on the right so you can see exactly how your changes look before saving. Changes save automatically — no separate Save button needed.

What You Can Add

Opens — Shows readers how many times your booklet has been opened. A simple credibility signal for popular content. Available on all plans. Learn more

Simplebooklet Title — Displays your booklet title and organization name in the navbar. You can type a custom title or pull it from your account settings. Available on all plans. Learn more

Organization — Shows the name of the organization or entity behind the booklet. Useful when the organization name should appear separately from the title. Available on all plans. Learn more

Summary — A short description of what your booklet is about. Write one yourself or use AI to generate it from your content. The summary also appears in collections, social media shares, and search engines. Available on paid plans. Learn more

Table of Contents — A clickable index of your booklet's sections. Build it manually or generate it automatically with the Table of Contents Specialist AI agent. Available on all plans; the AI agent requires Basic and above. Learn more

Search — Adds a search bar so readers can find specific content within your booklet. Available on all plans. Learn more

Last Revised — Displays the date your booklet was most recently updated. Updates automatically when you save changes — no manual entry needed. Available on all plans. Learn more

Terms of Service — Adds a link to your Terms of Service and Privacy Statement. If you don't have your own, a standard version is applied automatically. Available on all plans. Learn more

Tips

  • You can enable as many or as few Info options as you like — each toggle is independent.
  • If you use the same title and organization name across multiple booklets, enable the autofill option inside the Simplebooklet Title or Organization settings to pull directly from your account settings.
  • The Summary you add here also appears when your booklet is shared on social media or listed in a collection, so it's worth filling out even if you don't display it in the navbar.
