Step 1: Add a CNAME Record in Your DNS Manager


  1. Open your DNS Manager on your domain provider.


  1. Find the CNAME section and choose Add New CNAME.


  1. Enter:


  • Hostname: your subdomain (ex: report, design, guide, etc.)



  • TTL: ½ hour


  1. Click Save.


  1. Wait up to 30 minutes for DNS to update.


You don’t need to change your main website. Setting a subdomain like reports.yourdomain.com keeps everything clean and organized.


Step 2: Connect the Domain Inside Simplebooklet


  1. Open your Dashboard.


  1. From the left toolbar, select Domain.


  1. Click the plus icon to Add Custom Domain.


  1. Enter your new domain (without https://).


  1. Click Add Domain.


  1. Choose one of these options:

  • Set as Default Account Domain, or


    • Apply it to a specific Canva-exported Simplebooklet or Collection


  1. Click Apply.


  1. Your Canva-exported Simplebooklet now loads from a clean, branded URL.
