Export a Canva Design to Simplebooklet

The Canva Publish Intent Integration lets you turn your Canva designs into interactive Simplebooklets with page-flip transitions, a branded link, and built-in engagement tracking.

If you’re new to using Simplebooklet with Canva, this article walks through the general flow so you know what to expect before publishing your design.

Available on all plans.

What Happens When You Export from Canva to Simplebooklet

When you publish a design from Canva using the Simplebooklet integration, you’re turning your static layout into an interactive experience that:

  • Opens in a clean, flip-through format

  • Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile

  • Can be shared with a single branded link

  • Tracks opens, page views, and engagement

You’ll also be able to customize navigation, design elements, and sharing options once your design is published.

How the Canva Publish Intent Integration Works

At a high level, exporting from Canva to Simplebooklet looks like this:

  1. Open any design in Canva.

  1. Click Share in the top-right corner.

  1. Select See all, then choose Simplebooklet under the Design section.

  1. The Canva Publish Intent Integration opens on the right-hand side.

  1. Preview your design and choose which pages to publish.

  1. Select a page-flip transition that fits your layout.

  1. Publish your design to Simplebooklet.

Once published, your design opens in Simplebooklet Preview Mode, where you can fine-tune settings or start sharing right away.

Connecting Your Simplebooklet Account

If this is your first time using the integration, you may need to connect your Canva and Simplebooklet accounts.

If the Publish now button is greyed out or you can’t see your Simplebooklet library, your accounts just need to be connected.

After connecting once, future exports will be seamless.

What You Can Do After Publishing

After exporting your design, you can:

  • Share a branded link

  • Generate a QR code

  • Embed it on a website

  • Add navigation tools or custom buttons

  • Track engagement with built-in reports

You can also update or replace your design later using the same Canva → Simplebooklet workflow.
