Export Your Canva Design into a Simplebooklet



Introduction



Canva is a graphic design platform used for creating compelling designs and illustrations and can be used in tandem with Simplebooklet. You can easily export your Canva designs into a Simplebooklet using the Simplebooklet app in Canva.

Available on all plans with a Canva account.

Walkthrough





Step-By-Step Guide


It is recommended that you first create a Canva account. Experimentation and practice on the platform is the fastest way to learn. Should you encounter any issues, go to their help centre here.

Get the Simplebooklet Plugin for your Canva account here.

Click Use in new design.
Note: Skip to step 6, if you choose Use in existing design.

Type in the search bar or select from the dropdown menu what format you would like your Simplebooklet to be.

Once you've found it, tap it.

You should then be directed to your Canva workspace. Begin creating your Simplebooklet design.

Tap Connect if prompted.

Once you have completed your work on Canva and are ready to upload your design to Simplebooket, look to the top right-hand corner of the screen and click Share.

Scroll down until you find Simplebooklet and click that.

Click Save.

A a pop-up notification will appear with a button called View in Simplebooklet. Click it.

You should then be directed to the conversion tab. At the top, select from the dropdown menu whether you would like to Make A New Simplebooklet or replace it with another booklet.

Select the conversion method for your PDF. There are two options for your conversion process:

HTML5 - allows us to vectorize the text, make it editable in EDIT, and surface hyperlinks in your uploaded file.

IMAGE - flattens each of your PDF pages into a single image file.

Click COMPLETE.

Once completed, we'll display your booklet in the PREVIEW window and you can flip through the pages.

When you're happy with your content, click BACK TO DASHBOARD to see your newest Simplebooklet.
