Replace a Simplebooklet with a New Canva Design

The Replace feature lets you swap an older Simplebooklet’s content with a brand-new Canva design—while keeping your link, analytics, and share settings exactly the same.

How to Replace an Existing Simplebooklet from Canva

1. Open your design in Canva.

2. Click the Share button.

3. Select Simplebooklet from the sharing options.

4. The Simplebooklet Publish Intent Integration appears on the right.

5. By default, the Design tab shows page-flip transition options. Choose the one you want.

6. Click the Library tab to view all your Simplebooklets.

7. Under the booklet you want to replace, select Replace with new design.

8. A list of export settings appears. Toggle:

• Compress PDF

• Flatten PDF

• Include Notes

• Password Protection

9. Under Select Pages, choose the pages from your Canva design to export.

10. Click Export.

11. After processing, click Complete in Simplebooklet.

12. Approve the prompt that you are leaving Canva.

13. Your updated booklet opens in Simplebooklet Preview Mode where you can:

• Review the replacement

• Test on mobile/tablet/desktop

• Open Customize to edit Design, Edit, or Narrate settings

14. Click the Share tab to access your link, QR code, embed code, and more.

Your Simplebooklet has now been replaced with your new Canva design — without breaking any links or losing analytics.
