Troubleshoot your Simplebooklet Conversion
The Conversion Troubleshooting Tool helps you solve common formatting problems like blurry images, misaligned text, or font issues that can sometimes occur during conversion. This tool ensures your booklet looks polished and professional, providing a high-quality digital experience for your audience.

How to Troubleshoot your Simplebooklet Conversion
Open your Dashboard and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to troubleshoot.
Access the Audience Preview mode by clicking the cover image of the booklet.

Flip through the pages to review how the booklet will appear to your audience.
If you spot any issues, click the Troubleshoot button in the top-right corner of the preview screen.

When the troubleshooting popup appears, you can either:
Apply one of the recommended fixes directly from the first page, or

Click on the issue listed in the tab at the bottom of the popup to view a more detailed explanation of what might be causing the problem and how the fix will help.
Available troubleshooting options include:
Text and Fonts Are Funky – Are your paragraphs running all over the page or displaying the wrong fonts? We'll use a different conversion engine to correct the issue.

This can occur if your document doesn’t have the font family embedded or if hidden layers are being surfaced during conversion.
Images Are Blurry – Does it look like you're viewing your images underwater? We can try to improve your image quality, though it may increase loading time.

Different design programs export images in various ways, sometimes causing quality loss during conversion. Adjusting our conversion settings can often resolve this.
The system will reconvert your file with the adjustments applied to improve its quality.
Review your booklet again in the Audience Preview to make sure the fixes resolved the issue.
If you click the Troubleshoot button again after you apply a fix, you’ll see that the selected fix has been applied.
If the problem persists, reach out to our support team via chat, and we’ll help you find a solution.
For additional troubleshooting, we recommend compressing your PDF using iLovePDF to refine hidden or poorly formatted data in your file.
