Zapier: Contact Form Trigger

Zapier: Contact Form Trigger

Fire a zap every time a reader sends you a contact message — and route it straight to wherever you manage customer communications.

Available on all plans with a Zapier account.

Why Use This Trigger?

When a reader reaches out through your Simplebooklet's contact form, you want to respond fast. The Contact Form trigger sends that message directly to your support inbox, help desk, Slack channel, or wherever your team works — so nothing slips through.

How to Set Up the Contact Form Trigger

First, make sure Contact Form is enabled:

  1. From your Dashboard, open your Simplebooklet and click Design.

  1. In the left toolbar, click Navbar.

  1. Under More Customization, toggle on Contact Form.

  1. Click the edit icon to customize your prompt message, then Save.

Then set up the zap in Zapier:

  1. Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.

  1. Search for Simplebooklet and select Simplebooklet Activity Notification as the event.

  1. Click Continue, then Sign in to connect your Simplebooklet account. Click Allow when prompted.

  1. Under Trigger, set the Simplebooklet Event to Contact Form.

  1. Select the Simplebooklet you want to monitor.

  1. Click Test Trigger, then Continue.

  1. Choose your Action — the platform and event that fires when a message comes in.

  1. Sign in, fill out the action details, and click Test Action.

  1. Click Publish & Turn On.

How This Supports the Reader's Journey

The Contact Form trigger activates at the Action stage — when a reader decides to reach out directly. Routing that message automatically means faster responses and a better experience for the people who are most engaged with your content.
