Zapier: Feedback Trigger
Zapier: Feedback Trigger
Fire a zap every time someone records audio or video feedback on your Simplebooklet — and route it into your workflow automatically.
Why Use This Trigger?
Audio and video feedback is some of the most valuable input you can get from your audience. The Feedback trigger makes sure you never miss it — automatically creating a notification, support ticket, or task the moment someone records a response, so you can follow up while their thoughts are fresh.
How to Set Up the Feedback Trigger
First, set up Guest Narration so readers can record feedback:
- From your Dashboard, open your Simplebooklet and click the Share tab.
- Under Record, find the Invite Guest Narrators section and click Setup.
- Set an end date, add a message for participants, and copy the link to share with your audience.
Then set up the zap in Zapier:
- Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.
- Search for Simplebooklet and select Simplebooklet Activity Notification as the event.
- Click Continue, then Sign in to connect your Simplebooklet account. Click Allow when prompted.
- Under Trigger, set the Simplebooklet Event to Feedback.
- Select the Simplebooklet you want to monitor.
- Click Test Trigger, then Continue.
- Choose your Action — the platform and event that fires when feedback is recorded.
- Sign in, fill out the action details, and click Test Action.
- Click Publish & Turn On.
How This Supports the Reader's Journey
Feedback is a Satisfaction stage signal — it means your reader engaged deeply enough to respond. The Feedback trigger makes sure that engagement turns into a real conversation by routing their input directly into your workflow the moment it arrives.
