Zapier: Lead Gate Trigger
Zapier: Lead Gate Trigger
Fire a zap every time someone submits your Lead Gate — and automatically push that lead wherever you need it.
Why Use This Trigger?
Your Lead Gate is already capturing reader contact details. The Lead Gate trigger lets you act on those submissions instantly — routing new leads into your CRM, triggering a follow-up email sequence, or adding them to a spreadsheet automatically. No manual exports, no missed leads.
How to Set Up the Lead Gate Trigger
First, make sure your Lead Gate is active:
- From your Dashboard, find your Simplebooklet and click Design.
- In the left toolbar, click Popups.
- Toggle Lead Gate on and click the pencil icon to configure it.
Then set up the zap in Zapier:
- Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.
- Search for Simplebooklet and select Simplebooklet Activity Notification as the event.
- Click Continue, then Sign in to connect your Simplebooklet account. Click Allow when prompted.
- Under Trigger, set the Simplebooklet Event to Lead Gate.
- Select the Simplebooklet you want to monitor.
- Click Test Trigger, then Continue.
- Choose your Action — the platform and event that fires when a lead comes in.
- Sign in, fill out the action details, and click Test Action.
- Click Publish & Turn On.
How This Supports the Reader's Journey
The Lead Gate trigger activates at the Action stage — the moment a reader commits by sharing their contact details. Zapier makes sure that moment immediately feeds into your workflow, so no lead goes cold while you're waiting to manually check your reports.
