Following allows readers of your Simplebooklet to start following this specific Simplebooklet for updates, as well as start following you as the owner of the Simplebooklet.

Following is a great way to keep in touch with your readers. You'll be able to notify via email all of your followers when you make an update or change to your Simplebooklet. You'll also be able to push new content you create to your readers, so they never miss out on your latest content.

Step-by-Step Guide

Here's a quick guide to activating following on your Simplebooklet.

Start Following

Open your dashboard and select SHARE for the Simplebooklet you want reader's to follow.

In the right hand column, scroll down to the Follow section.

Check mark the follow feature.

The follow button will now appear in your Simplebooklet navigation bar.

Setting Your Follow Name

Whenever a person starts to follow a Simplebooklet, they are simultaneously following you, the owner. This means when they view all of the Simplebooklets they follow at https://simplebooklet.com/following then your content is displayed under your name. You can update the name they see.


Open your dashboard and select YOUR ACCOUNT in the top right corner by tapping the icon of the person with a gear.

Select Email and Password in the dropdown menu.

Update the name in the NAME section.

Tap SAVE.

This name will now appear when your Simplebooklet's are displayed on the following page of your followers.

FAQ

There are some limitations with followers to maintain their privacy.


You cannot view the email of the follower, only their name as associated with their email. This means you can only contact your followers through the follow manage tool in the Share tab.

The followers email is only registered to your Simplebooklet and made accessible to your Simplebooklet account. No other accounts on Simplebooklet can see or access your followers.

Following is opt-in. Only once a follower has opted in to follow you as an author can you begin to communicate with them and provide them additional content.
